“This place used to be a favorite or mine but it has definitely gone down hill. Doesn't seem like anyone there cares about the food quality or the cleanliness of the establishment. Upon entering everything was covered in a thick layer of dust and dirt even the ceiling, the bathrooms seem they haven't been properly cleaned in weeks, light fixtures are hanging off the building and the furniture in the lobby looks like it's been dragged down a bumpy road. The sushi was very dry and tasted old. The chef was the saving grace of the entire experience, he was very engaging with the table, didn't exclude anyone and let noone want for anything. I really hope my next experience is better or my family and I won't be returning.”
“The wait staff/servers were great & this was on a busy night - full house.
Our cook was was skilled & provided a good show on the grill. He cooked most everything perfectly, gave advice on the food, & recommended a drink for some of the guests. The steak was delicious, the shrimp & sushi were very good, & the vegetables were plenty.
I like the portions for the food & it wasn't too salty - thank you.
My only complaint is the fried rice - it was a bit dry.
Overall I enjoyed my Osaka steakhouse & sushi visit. Check them out!”
“They completely messed up our order, then when they brought out the correct order, double charged us, even though we didn't eat the wrong food. The manager vehemently argued with us, to the point that other patrons were taking my side. I was perfectly nice, I cannot believe how rude they were. Also the hibachi chef never spoke, and messed up 2 other orders at our table.”
“Firstly I’d like to say, I LOVEEE this food. They always a do a great job cooking, so my issue is not with that at all.
My issue starts with the fact that my wife ordered a California sushi roll when we ordered our drinks, along with 3 other sushi rolls that were ordered. They all got theirs, we noticed we did not so we informed the server. He told us no problem and he will get it. At the time we had gotten our ticket, and everyone was ordering ice cream still no sushi. I asked the waiter to speak to their manager, his response was “no we better not, they don’t like me already”. Finally we got our ticket and were told it was on the way, and they charged our card and forced us to pay without ever receiving what we ordered. My party went outside and I requested the manager again, to which I waited at the table for another 15 minutes. Then I noticed the manager bussing other tables, and working on other things instead of resolving our issue, so I had to once again ask for the mgr, when she came over her excuse was “sushi bar was running behind” which could not be accurate as everyone else got their sushi and we did not. I informed her I was charged for it and wanted it removed, so she informed me “I will have to void everything and redo it, so we can’t”. I advised her I will not pay for something we never got, to which she brought me the sushi roll and told me now the ticket is correct. I consistently asked for it to be removed and spoke to the lady up front and she said that manager “wasn’t the easiest to deal with”. So after 30 minutes of my wife and children and other family members waiting outside for me, I was finally able to leave with a $5 discount. Again, I’d like to say I love the establishment but this visit was atrocious and was handled with absolute no care for my experience.”
“This one’s a no-brainer. Good meal, good food, price exactly what you’d expect. But let me tell you — the food here is actually beautiful. Like, plated with care, flavors that make sense, and not just another slab of chicken fried chicken drowning in beige gravy.
Because let’s be honest: in Oklahoma, every stinking restaurant thinks chicken fried chicken is the state bird. You walk in anywhere and it’s the same menu: “Would you like your chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, or mashed potatoes with chicken fried chicken?” It’s like Groundhog Day, but greasier.
Here, though? The food actually has personality. It’s not just fried poultry in disguise. It’s colorful, flavorful, and makes you feel like you’re eating something worth chewing instead of something you regret halfway through.
Now, the only complaint: the restrooms. Nasty. And nothing kills the vibe faster than walking into a restroom that looks like it’s been hosting a mud-wrestling tournament. Fix that, and this place would be perfect.
Final verdict: Beautiful food, fair price, and a refreshing break from Oklahoma’s chicken fried chicken monopoly. Just clean the bathrooms so I don’t have to play “guess that smell” after dessert.”
“It was the 1st time my Grandma got to eat here and she loved it!!!! The food was delicious and the Chef was excellent very nice display of his skills”
“Great place we eat here often , the chef was ready to go but he was an older gentleman still made the food good just ot as entertaining as others ...”
“I had a very nice birthday dinner at Osaka! The place is huge so there wasn't a wait on a Friday night! The waiter (Pedro) and cook (Nit) were very well trained and provided an entertaining experience with lot of laughs!
The food is better that expected and the portion for my dinner was way too much so I needed a to go box. I had enough meat and veggies left to make egg foo yung to eat with the leftover fried rice.”
